What Catholic pet peeves do you have?

I personally could say this is probably one of the single most misunderstood and misrepresented myths about the Catholic faith.

In case you too were under the wrong idea that Catholics worship Mary, I would like to clarify.

We absolutely do not, should not, and were never taught to worship Mary.

As a practicing Catholic, I honor Mary as the Mother of God, the second person of the Most Holy Trinity, and the spouse of the Most Holy Spirit.

I ask her for intercessory prayers, as I would ask you my brothers and sisters in Christ.

I absolutely have conversations with her when I need comfort from a Mother, a woman, or an experienced wife, who loves me more than I or any other human being could ever love me.

To acknowledge, approach in conversation or honor someone is enormously different than "worshipping" a person. I think God made it VERY clear in His first commandment "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." -- Matthew 22:38

To do other wise would be blaspheme.

What about you dear sojourner, have you any pet peeves regarding the Catholic faith or misconceptions about what Catholics truly believe?
